MICROSOFT has sold 400,000 Xbox 360 units in Australia and New Zealand, according to a company executive.
The strong install base is second only to Nintendo Wii, but the Xbox 360 is still streaks ahead of Sony's Playstation 3.
The PS3 had outsold the Xbox 360 in the first five months of 2008, however.
