WoW : New Alliance Race

Blizzard has announced the new World of Warcraft race for the Alliance side, the Draenei.
If you think that the picture of that Draenei looks a little bit like a dread lord called Archimonde from Warcraft III then you would be right in thinking so. You see the Draenei are from the same race as Archimonde and Kil'jaeden. The Dark Titan, Sargeras, approached the Draenei (then called the Eredar) to offer them the standard fantasy kit of unimaginable power and the responsibility of leading his vast demonic horde, the Burning Legion. Many of the Eredar accepted this offer, including Archimonde and Kil’jaeden, however Velen, the third leader of the Eredar, rejected this offer as he had seen terrible visions of what would come to pass should he and the rest of the Eredar except. Luckily for Velen a member of the race of light touched beings called the Naaru came to him and aided the Eredar not intending to join Sargeras to escape. It is then that the Draenei came to call themselves “The Exiled Ones”.
After much fleeing through the galaxy the Draenei ended up on the home world of the, then peaceful, Orcs; calling the world Draenor (Exile’s Refuge). Kil’jaeden discovered the world and set about corrupting the orcs, needless to say this lead to a devastating war with the Draenei ending with them fleeing once again.
How do the Draenei come into Azeroth? Well apparently they crash landed in the Azuremyst Isles off of Kalimdor. And this is where their starting area will be.
The Draenei are matched with the Alliance, say Blizzard, because they all share a devotion to the light, especially with the human and dwarf paladins. They also have no love for the horde who they have already fought and the forsaken and blood elves are all influenced by the burning legion (I guess the Tauren are enemies by default of their allegiance to the Horde).
So there you have it. The screenshots seem to suggest that the Draenei can be Paladins, Hunters and Priests. I’m going to predict Warrior and Mage classes too. For more information, go here.
Alskreek, out.

The Broken and the Lost Ones are the result of the magics used against the Draenei in their war with the Orcs
