The Ship is a highly original and innovative first person shooter from Outerlight Ltd. The game uses Valve's Source engine for excellent Gameplay and graphical capabilities.
Your goal in The Ship is to hunt down and kill a number of targets, players or a.i. depending on the mode of play and either eventually eliminate everyone or earn more money than anyone by the end of the time limit.
The games idea is a lot like murder in the dark where you are given a persons name whom you then have to corner and kill, take their dagger and kill the person whose name appears on the dagger. The difference is that Mr. X, the mind behind the murderous escapades aboard his luxury cruise ships, will give you the name of your target and pay you depending on how you kill them.
While hunting down your target you will need to keep an eye on a great number of things: your wants. Things that need to be addressed such as hunger, the need to socialise or go to the bathroom and these needs also set up good ways to kill people - catch someone while they are taking a wiz and bash their brains out; another thing you need to watch out for is the person hunting you and a good way to foil them is to keep near security and lots of people, change your clothing and hair and so on; the ship has a host of security cameras, guards and traps and so one needs to be weary of these features when either sneaking into security restricted zones or committing your murderous acts as it could land you in jail with a big fine.
