Playstation 3 owners, particuarly those located in Sony's PAL territory, are scouring the Internet for Entropay-PSN how-to guides.

In Australia, the unexplained release delay of Super Street Fighter HD Turbo Remix to the PlayStation Store has been the final straw for many fed-up gamers.

Entropay, a virtual Visa card which allows users to obtain a credit card number that can be used to purchase online goods, is the only known way for PS3 owners with 'false' USA, UK and Asian-based accounts to purchase PSN games.

It is believed gamers opening new Entropay accounts must wait between one and two weeks for their virtual Visa numbers to work on off-shore PSN accounts.

This is the latest Sony move to block gamers from breaking region boundaries.

Other options include knowing a 'real' person in the area willing to share their credit card details with you. There is also the option of purchasing a pre-paid PSN card from eBay or an American retailer.

Super Street Fighter HD Turbo Remix was released on PS3 PSN in USA, UK and Hong Kong this week, and was also released on the Australian Xbox 360 store.

Yet Aussie PS3 owners are still waiting for a local release. It is believed the game will be available in the next 7-10 days.

A Sony Computer Entertainment Australia (SCEA) spokesperson told Computer Game that it does not govern or manage third-party PSN release dates and it is up to the third-party developer to launch the title.

Computer Game could not contact Capcom for comment.

PS3 owners - what method of payment are you using? What works? What doesn't?
