I found it very hard to find a comprehensive list of tricks you can teach to your Nintendogs so after much internet searching and trial testing in my own game here they are:
Sit
To make your dog sit quickly slide the stylus down their head. This may need to be done a few times before the dog will sit, then just press the lightbulb as you do with all tricks and away you go.
Lie Down
To make your dog lie down slide the stylus down their head when they are sitting.
Roll Over
To make your dog roll over; get your dog to lie down and then slide the stylus from the top of the head diagonally, this will make the dog play dead, another of the tricks. Once in the play dead position slide the stylus again, but this time from the side touching the ground and up the belly, you can do this while patting the dog.
Shake
Raise your dogs paw up with the stylus.
Spin
Make sure your dog is facing away from you enough to grab its tail, hold the tail with the stylus until your dog starts chasing it.
Sneeze
Touch your dogs nose and it should sneeze.
Jump
If your dog wiggles its bottom in the air then you can touch the stylus to the screen directly above it and your puppy should jump into the air.
Beg
From a standing or sitting position slide your stylus quickly up your puppies' front and he or she should go into a standing beg position. Note that your puppy needs to be fairly well trained to do this trick otherwise it will just go up onto its back paws for a short time and come back down again.
These following tricks require your puppy to be well trained:
Back Flip
If your puppy knows jump and sit down you can teach them the back flip trick. Command your puppy to sit and then to jump and it should perform a backflip.
Break Dance
Spin and roll over are required for this trick. Command your dog to roll over and then to spin.
Spinning Beg
Beg and spin are required for this one. Command your dog to beg and then spin.
Wave/Salute
Shake and Sit are required for this. Command your dog to sit and then grab its paw and raise it above its head.
Hand Stand
Your puppy needs to know lie down and beg. Command your puppy to lie down and then to beg.
Ninja/Martial Arts flip up
Roll over and jump are required for this trick. Command your dog to roll over and then to jump.

1.get your dog to sit
2.get your dog to lay down
3. get your dog to roll on it's side
4.get your dog to roll on to it's back
5.then press in the dogs stomach.
6 then click the lightbulb and say squik
get your dog to beg then grab irs paw and drag it up click on the lightbulb and say stand
once your dog knows this trick it will stand properly
[COLOR=Teal]Get our dog to come. Shake it's paw really hard, or make it to chase it's tail a lot. Then, he or she will kick dirt at you. Grab their tail, then it will try to bite you. Fling it away, and make it squeak. Bad news is, it will be mad at you for the rest of the day unless you :
1)Wash them
2)Take it for a walk
3)Brush their fur
If you do not do these things you'll find it will fight other dogs and it might make them mad at You Then it might get the other dogs mad, too.
I tell my dog to sit, then jump, but it just gets up then jumps.
if i tell him to roll over then spin to breakdance, he just gets up then spins? Can anyone help?
ive been playin nintendogs for like two weeks in a row!
I don't have Nintendogs, but my friends do & I hope I get one for Christmas this year

1. when ever i try to make my dog to a backflip i say sit then i say jump, but he get up and jump
answer- its probably cause he is not obediant enough, u must have trained ur dog to do all the basic commands(the ones in the obedience book),

What's it called?
e.g. circle beg, you need to be able to hold Beg and run in a circle for 10 seconds before the trick is properly executed.

I have a Male Shiba Inu, Wholly Creme colored, named Kiba with a clear note for the b, and a green Stripy bow. He knows all the basics, doesn't respond to his name, and doesn't respond to jump... I can retrain jump. but what about Kiba? how do I retrain his NAME??
I also have a Red/black Corgi, Female, named Rouxbea with all kinds of crazy symbols instead of letters... Its pronounced RUBY, but I'm Cajun so I put a twist on it with the RoUXbEA. ^.^
She is a very dedicated dog, but she will not respond to jump or Paw(shake) currently.
She also can't hold any tricks for 10secs so we're working on that.
She has a Check pattern bow(like, pink plaid looking thing) and is oddly named... I can't even get any of her name symbols in wingdings but you can clearly read that it is Rouxbea. ^_^ I'm in Louisiana-- LOOK FOR MEH!! xD I'm oOQuorabOo

So i got Ice and Bambie Yesterday, And they're First in Championship Agility 5 times straight. Ice is first in open class for disc. Bambie is Second in Master class For Obedience.
Now Cooper I got earlier today shes first in beginner class for everything

I just finished teaching those tricks to her today, So I tried to do the tricks like Break dance, Bunny hop, And Backflip, But she won't do the two tricks at the same time! I say sit, And so she sits, But then I say Jump, And she gets up and jumps!? What do I do?
P.S. Another comment said that you have to know all the basic tricks, then your dog will do the ones like Break dance and Backflip, But it dosent work![COLOR=Purple]
