If you love the game, you will love FIFA 10 - it's the best soccer simulation to date.
Last year, EA managed to convert countless Pro Evolution Soccer fans to wear FIFA's shining halo, with FIFA 09.
This year, those superb foundations have been enhanced with brilliant additions to the player arena, enhanced game play and a stronger online architecture.
The arena, where gamers can kick balls around just for fun, has a raft of new features, including the ability to set up instant full-scale practice matches and set pieces against AI opponents.
It's a full-fledged training gym where your skills can be greatly improved.
Game play is the best ever, speed and control is spot on and player movements perfectly reflect pushing and pulling on the analogue sticks. It's flawless.
When it comes to online, the most important change is that cheating opponents who disconnect minutes before full-time when trailing are now penalised for a loss.
In scoring FIFA 10, and respecting the eTalk's elusive 10/10 rating, it must be considered that EA cannot rely on storyline changes each year to improve its franchise. Nor can it change the rules of soccer.
Therefore, the improvements found in FIFA 10 show sport simulation genius and the perfect score is well deserved.
