The Burning Crusade expansion for World of Warcraft grows ever closer and Blizzard has recently released more information on what the expansion will offer to players.
A new map of Outland showing the various areas you will be able to travel to has been released. Outland contains 7 territories to explore, 6 dungeons (many with multiple dungeon ‘wings’ and some with raids) and many other exotic locations.
While in outland players will be able to ride flying mounts which, unlike those in Azeroth, will be fully under your control. Both Horde and Alliance will have their own unique mounts, in addition to this there will be several rare mounts and the one that Blizzard has announced is called a Nether Drake. Nether Drakes are the draconic offspring of the black dragon Deathwing whose eggs were altered when Outland was torn apart. Flying mounts will allow players to reach areas in Outland that are not readily accessible on foot (this usually means they are floating portions of the map or mountains).
In the expansion players will be able to advance beyond level 60 to a new limit of 70. With this level increase characters will also have access to new talents and spells.
A change to the classes of Paladin and Shaman, previously Alliance and Horde only, will be the inclusion of these classes as playable by the two new races. Blood Elves will be able to play as Paladins and Draenei.
